July 11, 2006

This month we've come up with a new format for sharing news with you. As with most things in life—it was harder than it looks. My muse has been prickly lately, and as I am about to press the publish button on this thing, I have big doubts.

Is there any creative adventure that isn't accompanied by doubt? I wonder. Maybe doubt isn't a bad thing to take along on a creative journey. Like a compass on a trek through wild forest, it can point you in the right direction. Just don't swallow it.

Let me know what you think about the newsletter and please report any technical difficulties. And as long as I've gone to all this trouble, scroll down to read about all the great stuff we've got going on. We hope to see you at one of our events very soon.

Cheers! ~MAd (Mary Ann de Stefano)

“Lots of encouragement—for both segments of the class. I felt that it was okay I'm a neophyte—inexperienced at yoga and not very coordinated. I also enjoyed the supportive, positive atmosphere for writing.” ~ workshop participant

Spot the Typo Contest

You know how it goes. You proof and proof and proof, but the moment you press the send button or finish making one hundred photocopies, you spot the wretched typo.

So go on, you just know it's in here somewhere. Be the first person to spot a typo in this issue of our newsletter and email to report it, and you'll receive one our groovy MAD about Words mugs. If, miracles or miracles, no typos are spotted this time, the mug goes to my Ophthalmologist.
